Our Story
Why Nuestar exists.
Most people understand that property builds wealth over time. Far fewer have a structured way to act on that knowledge and even fewer have access to the kind of opportunities that genuinely shape long-term outcomes.
Nuestar was founded to close that gap. Co-founded by Nick Hagen and Michael Wilkins, the business was built on a simple belief: successful wealth creation is driven by a series of well-structured decisions made consistently over time.
We operate upstream of the traditional property market. Our team works directly with developers and an established industry network to identify opportunities early, then aligns them with each client's long-term position, timing and objectives. Around every decision sits a group of finance, tax and legal specialists which our clients can access , ensuring each step is informed, coordinated and executable.

Founder & Director of High-Performance Coaching
With a background in psychology and neuro-semantic coaching, Nick guides clients through the strategic decisions necessary for long-term prosperity. As one of only five accredited neuro-semantic coaches in Australia, Nick co-founded Nuestar to create a nationally-innovating model that integrates psychological support with financial strategy.
Michael Wilkins
Founder & Director of Property
Michael brings over two decades of property expertise to his role, where he sources exclusive off-market opportunities for Nuestar clients. With a career spanning sales, marketing, project management and development, Michael holds a rare holistic view of the property market from both inside and out.
Oscar Boman
Senior Property Strategist
Oscar works closely with clients to develop their long-term property acquisition strategy and curates the individual team of industry experts who support each client through their journey with Nuestar. Beyond his corporate role, Oscar is an active investor, bringing a hands-on perspective to both his professional and personal endeavours.
Claire Wilkins
Operations & Client Manager
As Operations Manager at Nuestar, Claire is integral to both the day-to-day management and the strategic operational planning of the company. Her role ensures the seamless execution of business activities while overseeing the long-term strategies that support sustainable growth and client satisfaction.
Ned Wilson
Head of Marketing
Ned leads marketing and client engagement at Nuestar, helping connect clients with the firm's research, opportunities and long-term investment philosophy. With extensive experience spanning property, FMCG, communications and business development, he plays a key role in shaping the Nuestar brand and client experience.
